Everything provided that we needed, including basic essentials and delicious homemade muffins. Great location, with easy access to local shops and beautiful autumnal trees.- Lovely hosts, who were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Downstairs area was a bit chilly, but the woodburner quickly warmed it up. Would have liked more time to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

A warm and friendly welcome from the hosts. We were greeted with a delicious homemade cake, which was a lovely touch. The location was convenient, with shops and restaurants within walking distance and the wedding venue nearby.

The downstairs of the cottage was quite dark and chilly. We had to keep the lights on constantly, which was not ideal.

The Old Barn At Trymwood was like a home away from home. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, even leaving us a homemade cake to enjoy upon arrival. The amenities were top-notch, with fresh provisions provided and a well-equipped kitchen. The location was idyllic, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a soothing waterfall. The woodburner kept us cozy and warm, and we loved being able to see the stars through the velux windows upstairs. The extra beds were a bonus for our diverse group, and the piano provided entertainment for our musically inclined child. it was a perfect getaway and we can't wait to return.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Old Barn At Trymwood and it was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a delicious homemade cake. The barn itself was cozy and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. I especially enjoyed the peacefulness of lying in bed and listening to the sounds of the River Trym flowing outside my window. The location was also convenient, with the wedding venue I was attending just a short distance away. The village of Westbury on Trym was within walking distance, offering a variety of shops and restaurants to explore. I had a wonderful stay at the Old Barn At Trymwood and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy escape.

We instantly felt at home in this immaculate and cosy accommodation. the hosts, Jane and her husband, were charming and welcoming. They greeted us with freshly baked muffins made from fruits grown in their own garden. Our son even had the opportunity to collect eggs from the hen house! the location was perfect for us, as it was conveniently close to the wedding venue we were visiting. Despite roadworks in the area, we had no trouble reaching our destination. The shops and restaurants in Westbury on Trym were within walking distance, making it even more convenient for us. Cons: Nothing 🙌.

The Old Barn provided a warm and friendly welcome with a homemade cake waiting for us, a lovely touch. The cottage itself was homely and nicely furnished, with clean and bright bathrooms and comfortable and spacious bedrooms. The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed for our short stay. The cottage also had games, puzzles, and fabulous artwork to enjoy. We appreciated the good quality provisions provided, such as butter, tea, proper coffee, and milk. Additionally, the cottage's location in a village-like enclave close to Bristol center gave it a charming and character-filled atmosphere.

    Felt extremely safe, no complaints.

Breakfast choices could have been more varied.

The room at The Old Barn At Trymwood was like a cozy retreat, adorned with charming rustic touches. It felt like a warm hug after a long day of exploring Bristol. The private bathroom, complete with a bath and hairdryer, provided a perfect sanctuary to relax and unwind.

Personally, I found the selection of toiletries in the bathroom a bit limited. But hey, it's just my opinion, and I'm sure others would still find them perfectly adequate.

The location was perfect, allowing us to enjoy the peacefulness of nature while still being close to city amenities. It was a great place to relax and unwind with family or friends.

The downstairs area felt a bit dark and chilly, but we were able to make use of the woodburning stove to keep warm. the stone floors downstairs were cold, so remember to pack your slippers.
